It is with much sadness that we learned of the passing of our friend Paul Singer.
It is a very important figure of the progressive, social and ecological movements, a major player of the Social and Solidarity Economy but also one of the main pioneers of sustainable development who leaves us.
Former brazilian Secretary of State for Social and Solidarity Economy, he worked hard to promote the emergence and development of inclusive and solidarity initiatives and to give coherence to SSE movements in the field.
He was also an active and faithful ally of the international networks of the SSE such as SSE International Forum, formerly known as The Mont-Blanc Meetings. His relevance, enthusiasm and impressive listening skill will be missed.
Paul Singer was also an incredibly discreet, generous and friendly man. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and all his SSE friends.
