The international conference “Social economy – for an economically sustainable and socially inclusive EU” took place on 16 and 17 April in the Boyana Residence in Sofia. The conference aimed to encourage the exchange of views on the challenges and opportunities for the future of the social economy in the context of the digital revolution and inclusive growth.
The two-day forum gathered politicians from EU and candidate countries, representatives of international organisations, social partners and civil society organisations. The panellists discussed the ways the social economy can better respond to and contribute to the needs of inclusive economic growth.
